How many pictures will we receive?
The number of photos vary for each session. You can find information about your specific session under the pricing section.
What’s the best time to have a session with a newborn?
I always recommend reaching out to me during your second trimester to ensure you can secure a spot on my books. Newborn session are typically scheduled during the morning hours and between 4-21 days of life.
How will I receive my Photos?
Photos are delivered through a digital online gallery within approximately 3 weeks of session date. You will be able to download your photos through a personal link for printing and sharing with family.
Where will newborn sessions take place?
Newborn sessions take place in your home outside of Fresh 48 sessions which will take place in the hospital. Outdoor newborn sessions are available during the warmer months. I have a list of locations available to shoot outdoor/indoor sessions or we can use a location of your choosing. Travel fees do apply to anything outside of a 30 mile radius of Bells, TN.
How should we dress for our session?
I always recommend earthy tones and solids. Adding in layers and textures gives that warm and cozy feeling. The main goal is for everyone to be comfortable. Once you book your session we will talk more in depth about what to wear for your specific location and type of session.
We don’t feel very confident in front of the camera, is that ok?
Absolutely! I will help prompt you throughout your session to get those in the moment and real life photos of your family. I love to let the kiddos lead the way and capture all those little memories you never want to forget.
What if there is inclement weather?
Sessions will be rescheduled if needed due to inclement weather. If it is overcast or only a light drizzle your session is likely to continue as scheduled. If temperatures are very cold or hot or there is heavy winds/rainfall sessions may be rescheduled.
When should I schedule my maternity shoot?
Maternity sessions are scheduled between 28-34 weeks. It is best to reach out to me to schedule your maternity session once you are in your second trimester. I also offer pregnancy announcement sessions these typically take place during your first trimester, but can occur whenever you feel ready to announce your pregnancy.
